SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Lee Anderson of Scott City will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Revs. Kenneth Roberts and Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.
Anderson, 86, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 21, 1910, in Arkansas, son of Henry and Rebecca Anderson. He married Lela Husk, who died in 1966. He and Ethel Crump Jamerson were married June 22, 1968.
Anderson retired as a dispatcher with Missouri Utilities Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Chaffee, and member of Gideon International.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles Anderson of Cape Girardeau, Howard Anderson of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, sister and eight brothers.
