COMMERCE, Mo. -- LeAnna Marie Wright, 56, of Commerce passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at her home.
LeAnna was born Aug. 13, 1957, in Farmington, Mo., the daughter of Carl D. and LaNelle R. Holmes Howell Sr. She and Alan Wright were married Sept. 27, 1982, at Scott City. He survives.
With Alan, LeAnna owned Wrights Auto Repair in Commerce. She worked hard and loved her customers. She enjoyed working in the shop with her husband and spoiling her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie (Jack) Daniels of Killeen, Texas, and Alisha (James) Hennecke of Scott City; four grandchildren, Jaclyn Daniels of Killeen and Destani, Trae and Jayden of Scott City, all of whom she loved dearly; a stepdaughter Christina (Brian) James and their four children, Jacob, Lauren, Noah and Jonah; two brothers, Donnie (Pam) Howell and James Howell of Scott City; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were considered family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl Jr. and Gary Howell.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery near Commerce.
