JACKSON, Mo. -- LaWanna Sue Henderson, 69, of Jackson died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights, Mo. She was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Jackson, daughter of Orville and Ollie Smith Christy. She and James B. Henderson were married Sept. 1, 1950. He died June 13, 1994...

JACKSON, Mo. -- LaWanna Sue Henderson, 69, of Jackson died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights, Mo.

She was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Jackson, daughter of Orville and Ollie Smith Christy. She and James B. Henderson were married Sept. 1, 1950. He died June 13, 1994.

Henderson was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Michael Henderson of Desloge, Mo.; two daughters, Nancy Trujillo of Clayton, Mo., Linda Nagel of Jackson; two brothers, Bob Christy of Woodbridge, Va., Shelby Christy of Tucson, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Rice officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
