Lawanda Limbaugh

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Lawanda "Sis" Limbaugh, 76, of Advance passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at her home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1938, at Sturdivant, Mo., daughter of Harvey and Beulah Tolbert Bond. Sis and Bill Limbaugh were married Feb. 20, 1960, in West Virginia.

She was a charter member of Advance Eagles 4154.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Limbaugh of Advance; a daughter, Billie (David) Wiseman of Advance; her twin brother, Buddy (Dorothy) Bond of Arab, Mo.; a grandson, Tyler (Tiffani) Bowman; two stepgranddaughters, Heather (Keith) Donner and Jill (Brian) Miller; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Donner, Madison Donner, Kaylee Miller and Kaden Donner; her dog, Kolbie J; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Herman, Gene, Leonard and Pud Bond.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
