OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- LaWanda Evelyn Thrower, 57, of Olive Branch, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Thebes, daughter of Gerald and Mary Crown Lewis. She married Donald E. Thrower Sr.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra Thrower of Thebes; a son, James Thrower of Watertown, N.Y.; her mother, Mary Frans of Mounds; her father of Olive Branch, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry L. Potts officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
