MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Laverne Crouch, 67, of Troy, Mo., died Monday, June 11, 2001, at her home.
She was born April 2, 1934, near Lowndes, Mo., daughter of Thelbert and Pauline Stevenson Steward. She and Don Fisher were married in December 1950. He died in August 1969. She later married Robert Crouch Dec. 31, 1971.
Crouch was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church in Troy.
Survivors include her husband; six daughters, Donna Vidas of Eureka, Mo., Connie Fisher of St. Peters, Mo., Janet Cannon of Troy, Patty Heron and Karen Brown of O'Fallon, Mo., Judy Fisher of Moscow Mills, Mo.; a brother, Dennis Steward of Jefferson City, Mo.; three sisters, Virginia Mouser and Glenda Cumrine of Marble Hill, Carol Morie of Jackson, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three infant brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Porter officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery near Lowndes.
