MATTHEWS, Mo. -- Carolyn Lavern Dodson, 45, of Matthews died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Close to Home in Matthews. She was born Jan. 21, 1963, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of Doyle and Wanda Cochran Crowden. Survivors include a son, Tyler Dodson of Texas; her mother, Wanda James of Essex, Mo.; two brothers, Donnie Crowden of Benton, Mo., Cliff Crowden of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Beverly Crowden of Cape Girardeau, Kristi Petty of Essex; and maternal grandmother, Gertrude Cochran of Dexter, Mo...
