Lauren Dale Reece, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, near Sikeston, Missouri, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born May 17, 1961, at Enid, Oklahoma, to Patricia Clayton Reece Fleurdelys, who survives of Cape Girardeau, and the late Bob Reece.
For more than 27 years, Lauren worked as a registered nurse and most recently was employed with Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Lauren was an avid glass blower, but had a number of other hobbies that he enjoyed.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Amanda Reece (Matthew) Potts and Clayton (Alyssa) Reece of Cape Girardeau and Zach (Michaela) Reece of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Beverly Reece of Cape Girardeau; brother, Marc (Gloria) Reece of Rolla, Missouri; grandchildren, Reece Potts, Reagan Potts and Oliver Potts; and his former wife and mother of his children, Nancy Reece.
In addition to his father, Lauren was preceded in death by his stepfather, Paul Fleurdelys.
At Lauren's own request, services will be private.
