Laura L. Mize, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017.
She was born March 17, 1930, in Bloomfield, Missouri, to William E. and Marie Clodfelter White. She and Homer D. Mize were married July 21, 1951, in Paragould, Arkansas. He passed away April 27, 2013.
She was a sales associate for Bemis Bag Co. in St. Louis for over 35 years, retiring in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Mindy (Steve) Moats of St. Peters, Missouri; brother, Bill White of Jackson; two sisters, Nancy (Ray) Shock of Jackson and Mary (Vernon) Hopkins of Cape Girardeau; and two grandsons, Andy Moats and Corey Moats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Carol White.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Shawn Wasson officiating. Burial will be at Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
