Laura Bernece Foulk, 82, of Scott City, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 24, 1920, to Arthur M. Lipe and Grace Robey in Avert, Mo. Laura Bernece Foulk, 82, of Scott City, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 24, 1920, to Arthur M. Lipe and Grace Robey in Avert, Mo.

Foulk was married to Clifford B. Foulk on Oct. 5, 1936, in Benton, Mo. She had worked as a seamstress at Ely Walker Co. and was a member of the New Life Gospel Center in Scott City.

Foulk is survived by three sons, Don Foulk of Scott City, Charles Foulk of Rockview, Mo., and Dean Foulk of Chaffee, Mo.; one sister, Lettie Young of Dupo, Ill; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, three sisters and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Revs. Jack Owens and Charles Tennison officiating. Burial will follow at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
