SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Larry Dale Wadlington, 66, of Scott City died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 26, 1934, at Fornfelt, Mo., son of Euin and Lorene Hensley Wadlington. He and Sharon Elaine Barks Simmers were married Dec. 8, 1990.
Wadlington was employed by Robbins Pharmaceuticals and Southeast Hospital Outreach Lab. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau.
He had officicated high school and college basketball games in Southeast Missouri.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steve Wadlington of Memphis, Tenn., and Scott Wadlington of St. Louis; a stepson Aaron Simmers of Scott City; a daughter Sandra Rhodes of Cape Girardeau; a brother Dean Wadlington of Scott City; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation is at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Luther Rhodes will officiate, and he will be assisted by the Rev. Sam Ramdial, with burial in Cape County Memorial Park.
