Larry James Prost, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at his home.

Larry was a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School in Perryville, Missouri.
He was the owner of Larry's Auto Sales in Perryville.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
Larry's beautiful blue eyes and smile could light up a room. He always had a joke to tell and a laugh that was contagious. Anyone who knew Larry knows there were several things he held dear to his heart: his Catholic faith, family, cars, music and dancing. Larry never met a stranger and could start a conversation with anyone. He had a kind, honest, sincere and loving soul. Although he will be incredibly missed, the hearts of his loved ones are comforted to think of how sweet the reunion in heaven was between him and his dad.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa (Chris) Jones of Marshall, Missouri, and Erica (Scott) Sims of Blackwater, Missouri; son, Vincent (Kayla Glency) Prost of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, Aden, Blaine and Addi Jones, Mollie and Owen Sims, and Alyssa Prost.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
