KELSO, Mo. -- Larry Dale Enderle, 61, of Kelso died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 15, 1948, in Cape Girardeau to Chester James and Olga Meta Schroeder Enderle.
Enderle served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve 20 years.
He was a food broker with Bene and Patterson and also worked at Bob's Foodliner in Scott City. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 6420, life member of VFW Post 6407 in Scott City, Eagles Aerie 3775 and Elks Lodge 639 in Cape Girardeau and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter M00859 in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Survivors include four brothers, James Enderle of Scott City, Allan and John Paul Enderle of Kelso, Raymond Enderle of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Rosemary Holder and Frances Enderle of Scott City, Martha Light of Cape Girardeau, Janet Enderle of Coralville, Iowa; eight nieces and nephews, Craig Enderle, Kenny Holder, Lorri Kirker, Angela Light, David Light, Misty Ziegler, Travis Tuschhoff and Elijah Enderle; and a great-niece, Kristin Kirker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6 and Knights of Columbus prayers at 6:15.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery with full military honors.
