Larry Jefferson Crites, 61, of Fruitland died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 24, 1943, at Patton, Mo., son of Charlie and Dessie Mae Garland Crites.
Crites had been a welder at Welch Well Drilling. He had also worked at International Shoe Co. and Red Crocker Well Drilling. He was a member of Post Oak Methodist Church at Patton.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Crites of Toledo, Wash., Gregory Crites of Jackson; three daughters, Teresa McGuire of Jackson, Vickie Crites of Greer, S.C., Angela Besand of Frohna, Mo.; a brother, Harold Crites of St. Louis; three sisters, Clara Mills of Fredericktown, Mo., Joy McIntyre of Jackson, Norma Mungle of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Methodist Cemetery.
