EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Larry Gene Cornwell, 61, of East Prairie died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 4, 1940, in East Prairie, son of Raymond C. and Helen Jackson Cornwell.
Cornwell lived in Mississippi County most of his life, and was a truck driver.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Frye and Laura Jackson of East Prairie; his mother of East Prairie; a brother, Shirley Cornwell of East Prairie; four sisters, Donna Munoz of Lakewood, Calif., Joan Burdell of Long Beach, Calif., Fern Easley of East Prairie, Fostine Fischer of Bellflower, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
