SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Larry Cline of Edgewater, Fla., formerly of Scott City, died Nov. 2, 1999, in Florida.

Cline was retired from Commercial Transport Inc. He attended the Baptist church.

He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of York Rite, Scottish Rite, and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a son, Paul Cline; three stepsons, Mike, Jerry and Ted Lomax; stepmother, Maggie Cline; four brothers, six sisters, nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park between Carbondale and Murphysboro in Illinois. The Rev. Robert Hancock will officiate. VFW Post 3838 will provide the Color Guard.

Crain Funeral Home Pleasant Grove Chapel at Murphysboro is in charge of arrangements.
