LARRY ADAMS

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Larry Joe Adams, 49, of Hillsboro, Mo., died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Nov. 14, 1951, at Sikeston, son of Willie C. and Dorothy J. Brown Adams. He and Becky Glenn were married May 20, 1972, in Clayton, Mo.

Adams was owner/operator of Adams Trucking in Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joshua and Andy Adams of Hillsboro; a stepson, Monte Sharp of Bloomsdale, Mo.; four sisters, Sharon Ossendorf of Arnold, Mo., Karen Brown of Valley Park, Mo., Teresa Adams of St. Charles, Mo., and Debra Harper of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Adams officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
