SIKESTON -- Lanus Propst, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 18, 1914, at Cape Girardeau, son of Harley Baxter and Georgia Davis Propst. He and Myra Bell Minner were married Sept. 21, 1933.
He was a member of the First Christian Church at Sikeston and had been owner and operator of Propst Mobile Home Sales until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of Sikeston; a son, Robert Propst of Sikeston; a daughter, Myra Myers of Sikeston; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Ed Pangburn will officiate, with burial to follow at the Old Morley Cemetery at Morley.
