ADVANCE, Mo. -- Lance Ashley Carlton, 29, of Panama City Beach, Fla., formerly of Advance, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Knoxville, Tenn., from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 22, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, son of Kristi Carlton.
Lance was a 1994 graduate of Advance High School. He was also a graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Okla. He was attending the University of Embry Riddle Aeronautical in Daytona, Fla.
He was a first officer for U.S. Airways Express based out of Knoxville.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Kristi and Larry Robins of Advance; maternal grandparents, David and Wanda Cummins of Panama City Beach, Kenneth "Buck" and Rachel Carlton of Advance; maternal great-grandmother, Kristina Carlton of Advance; two brothers, Chase and Dakota Robins of Advance; stepgrandparents, Charles and Lottamae Robins of Advance; an uncle and aunt, Kenny and Theresa Carlton of Advance; cousins, Autumn and Austin Carlton of Advance; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
