Lana Orrell

Lana G. Orrell, 54, formerly of Houston, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at her home in Jackson. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Rocky Tallent officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 8, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Wilson and Murellian Hargraves Pair. She married Leonard "Dub" Orrell on June 29, 1968.

She was a member of Gideon Baptist Church in Houston and was active in the We Can Survivors and Relay for Life groups with the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include: her husband; three sons, Mark and Benjamin Orrell of Cape Girardeau and Steve Orrell of Jackson; her mother of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, David, Keith, Mike and Kenny Pair of Jackson and Matt Seyer; four sisters, Linda Wolpers of Dexter, Mo., Cindy Bacon of Fredericktown, Mo., and Mary and Ruth Pair of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.
