Kyna A. Kennedy, 11 months and 8 days, of Cape Girardeau passed away at 2:27 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Kyna was born Sept. 29, 2015, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John Kennedy Jr. and Edelmira “Mia” Osorio Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Patricia Ann Hale Osorio.

Survivors include her parents, John and Edelmira “Mia” Kennedy Jr. of Cape Girardeau; brother, Patrick Seders of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandfather Carlos Osorio; paternal grandparents John (Laura) Kennedy Sr. and Stacey Kennedy; aunts; uncles; and other relatives.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Illinois.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with John Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois.
