JACKSON -- Khurman "Cutter" McBride, 75, of Jackson, died Thursday, March 11, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 30, 1917, on Jackson Star Route, son of Monroe and Caroline Wolfenkoehler McBryde. He and Elaine Reitzel were married Aug. 12, 1942.

McBride had worked at Jackson Hosiery Mill, Sander True Value Hardware Store, C.H. Sander Hardware Store, and from 1968 until retiring in 1978 he worked at Lee-Rowan.

He was a 40-year member of First Baptist Church, and had been a youth Sunday School teacher. He was a member of Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Marsha Heacox of Eureka, and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McConbs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rodney Travis will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
