HOXIE, Kan. — Kevin Leroy Wade, 65, of Hoxie died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at Sheridan County Hospital.

He was born July 6, 1958, in Jackson to Benny L. Wade and Mary M. Mitchell. Kevin and Gloria J. Jones Wade were married Sept. 22, 1984, in Jackson

Survivors include a son, Derrick L. (Justine) Wade of Hoxie; four grandchildren, Davin Wade of Hoxie, Mallory Wade of Hoxie, Jada Wade of Jefferson City and Dominik Jones of Hoxie; two sisters, Syvilla Swan of Jackson and Beverly McKinley of Atlanta; and brother, Kerry Wade of Boston.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pamela Wade.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 3, at Greater Dimension Ministries in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will follow at noon at the church, with Pastor William Bird Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
