OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Grady Kent Honey, 49, of Olive Branch passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at his home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1963, in Cairo, Ill., son of Paul Dean and Judy Gentle Honey.
Kent was a member of Olive Branch Methodist Church, and enjoyed golfing. He was a registered nurse in the Cardiac Care Center at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Judy and Paul Pittman of Olive Branch; two daughters, Sara Honey of Austin, Texas, Jennifer Honey of Jackson; his fiancee, Judy Maze of Olive Branch; his father, Paul Dean Honey of Carterville, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Cameron and Abby Honey.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Honey, in 2005.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, Ill., with the Rev. Brent Gordon officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
