Kenny Foor, 56, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 31, 1949, son of Robert Henry and Betty Rose Bailey Foor. He and Nancy Ward were married Nov. 1, 1975, in Aledo, Ill.
Foor had been a mechanic and a musician.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army from Sept. 18, 1966, to May 23, 1973. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Foor of Cape Girardeau, Clinton Foor of St. Louis; a daughter, Amy Foor of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Donald Foor of Letts, Iowa, Jack Foor of Axton, Va.; three sisters, Marlene Runge of Blue Grass, Iowa, Joan Brace of Davenport, Iowa, and Barbara Garrison of Crystal Lake, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be held today in Letts. Burial will be in Fruitland, Iowa.
A gathering for local friends and family will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in the upstairs hall of Cherokee Trails (formerly American Legion Hall).
