SCOTT CITY -- Kenneth Wayne Zimmerman, 57, of Scott City died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 27, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of Franklin Otis and Eloise Deweese Zimmerman. He and Theresa O'Brien were married Dec. 20, 1980, at Scott City.
Zimmerman was a forklift operator at Lee-Rowan in Jackson. He served in the U.S. Army and in Missouri National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth Zimmerman Jr. of High Ridge; two daughters, Sheri and Rebecca Pitts of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Anna Johnston of Cape Girardeau and Vicki Speakman of Scott City.
Also surviving are two brothers, John Zimmerman of Wentzville, Mark Zimmerman of St. Peters; two sisters, Willa Zimmerman of Scott City; Soundra Eifert of Arnold; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
