Kenneth Warrengee Rogers, 80, of Parrish, Fla., died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at Manatee Hospital in Ellenton, Fla.

He was born Sept. 2, 1931, son of Theodore W. and Ruth Mae Steward Rogers.

Rogers was a U.S. Army veteran.

He worked at Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo, Ind., most of his adult life.

Survivors include his wife, Betty of Parrish; a son, Kenny L. Rogers and family of Kokomo; three sisters, Shirley Hopper of Kissimmee, Fla., Marj Jauch of Tampa, Fla., and Joan Griffaw of Cape Girardeau; and three brothers, Vernon, Robert and Charles Rogers, all of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Rogers and Ruth Mae Jauch.

Burial was in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, with military rites conducted by VFW Honor Guard.
