Kenneth Miracle

Kenneth W. Miracle, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 13, 2009, at his home.

He was born May 15, 1943, in Middlesboro, Ky., son of Clifford Benjamin and Alta Campbell Miracle. He and Susan Jan Sparks were married July 2, 1982, in Cool Valley, Mo.

Miracle was an owner and operator of several dental laboratories in Cape Girardeau, St. Louis and Colorado Springs, Colo. Kenneth was a devoted family man and loved his kids. He enjoyed being part of the Men's Club at Trinity Lutheran Church. His favorite pasttime was fishing. He was a longtime member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Josh Penfield of Jackson and Kenny Paul Miracle of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Vanessa Purvis of Live Oak, Fla.; a brother, Arlee Miracle of Seattle; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leo Miracle.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Wright will officiate, with burial at 3 p.m. Sunday at Marshall County Memorial Gardens in Marshall County, Ky.
