Kenneth E. "Buddy" Ledermann, 67, of Scott City died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at his home.
He was born Nov. 20, 1949, in Illmo to the Rev. Kenneth John and Margie Leona Coomer Ledermann. He married Lillie Marie O'Dell on June 18, 1977.
Kenny worked at SPD reprocessing at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He attended Bible Missionary Church in Cape Girardeau. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Justin Ledermann of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Christina (Namon) Colburn of Scott City; a grandson, Micah Colburn; a brother, Kenneth John (Nancy) Ledermann Jr. of Cahokia, Illinois; and two sisters, Linda (Jack) Robins of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Sue (Gene) Wilson of Lady Lake, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dean Ledermann; and two sisters, Brenda Rhodes and Margie Eggemeyer.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. Rennie Phillips, Joe Horger and Jack Owens officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, with full military honors.
