Graveside service for Kenneth L. Heider of Hazelwood was held Tuesday at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. An honor guard from Ft. Leonard Wood conducted military rites.
Hutchins Funeral Home of Florissant was in charge of arrangements.
Hutchings, 61, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1991, at his home.
He was born in Cape Girardeau, son of Otto and Leona Heider. He worked at a shoe manufacturing company. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and received a Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; a son, Kenneth Heider Jr. of Fenton; a daughter, Janice Heider of California; four sisters, Wilma Barks of Cape Girardeau, Alma Propst of Evansville, Ind., Hulda Garner of Cahokia, Ill., Nora Franks of Hazelwood, and five grandchildren.
