Kenneth L. Burton, 68, 720 S. Pacific, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Oct. 12, 1925, near Senath, son of Owen and Dora Hall Burton. He and Vivian I. Watson were married July 24, 1974.
Burton retired from the maintenance department at Southeast Hospital. He was a member of VFW Post, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; three stepsons, Daniel Dennis of Elgin, Ill., David and Gary Dennis of Cape Girardeau; a stepdaughter, Donna McCarty of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Cletus Burton of Sarasota, Fla.; two sisters, Cloella Webb and Glenda Marshall of Bernie; seven stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the VFW.
