Kenneth Wayne Inman, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at his home, surrounded by loving family and friends. Kenneth Wayne Inman, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at his home, surrounded by loving family and friends.

He was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Kennett, Mo., son of Kenneth M. and Helen C. Goodrich Inman. He graduated from Senath, Mo., High School in 1961. He married Sherry D. Kinder on June 2, 1962, in Bragg City, Mo.

Ken is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sherry; two daughters, Kyla Thomas and husband Stacy of Austin, Texas, Kim Williams of Cape Girardeau; a son, Keith Inman and wife Nancy of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Patricia A. Collier and husband Tom of Searcy, Ark.; and a brother, Bill Inman and wife Debbie of Bragg City.

Also six grandchildren, Bradley Gaines and wife Heather of Jackson, Matthew and Patrick Burris of Austin, Benjamin Williams and Kaleb and Kota Lynn Inman of Cape Girardeau; beloved aunts, Louise McPeters, Vaudine Jackson and Polly Sisson; a number of cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom he truly adored.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Southeast Hospice in Cape Girardeau or the American Cancer Society.
