ORAN, Mo. -- Kenneth Billy Ray Hopper, 68, of Oran passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, in Sikeston, Missouri.
He was born Dec. 6, 1948, in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late George Oscar and Katie Mae Robinson Hopper. He married Shirley Jean Tinsley on Oct. 26, 1985, and she preceded him in death July 31, 2016.
Kenneth retired as a truck driver for La Plant Trucking in East Prairie, Missouri. Kenneth served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by two stepsons, Todd (Sonya) Gregory of East Prairie and Bill (Jennifer) Green of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Dana (Bobby) McGee of Wynne, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Teresa (Ralph) Hicks of Oran; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Hopper, and one stepson, Michael Green.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
