DES ARC, Mo. -- Kenneth Burkhart, 62, of Dexter died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington.
He was born July 1, 1938, the son of George Joseph and Maudie Mayberry Burkhart. He married Gwendolyn Haynes. She survives of Des Arc.
He was a native and former resident of Dexter. He had lived in the Fredericktown and Des Arc areas the past 20 years.
He also is survived by two sons, Kevin Burkhart of Fredericktown and Shawn Dewayne Burkhart of Des Arc; a daughter, Sherry Nicole Harman of Waynesville; a stepson, Wesley Holmes of Russellville, Ark.; a stepdaughters, Sherrie Ann LaVergne of Jay, Okla.; a sister, Albert Armes of Bloomfield; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter officiating.
Burial will be at the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
