SIKESTON, Mo. -- Kenneth Barker Beal, 53, of Sikeston died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Clearview Nursing Center.
He was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Sikeston, son of Clem and Guynell Glover Beal. He married Jacqueline Hines June 18, 1977, in Jackson.
He served as senior warden, vesting member and licensed lay eucharistic minister of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston.
He was also a chief investment officer and senior vice president at Montgomery First National Bank and was a chief financial officer for the former Amerifirst Bank. He had a consultation practice in Jackson, Miss., that worked with banks in many banking functions. He was vice president of Trustmark National Bank in Jackson.
He had an advanced coach's license and referee license, and coached and refereed Sikeston Youth Soccer League.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Brad Rogers of Charlotte, N.C.; and a daughter, Bethany Beal of Sikeston.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Robert Towner officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
