Funeral for Kenneth Henry Baker of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was held Friday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, Mo. The Rev. Ed Rhodes officiated. Burial was in Portageville Cemetery.
Baker, 60, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at Three Rivers Health Care North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
He was born March 16, 1940, in Chicago, son of Oscar Carl Baker. He and Loretta Williams were married Aug. 8, 1975, in Joliet, Ill.
Baker lived in Scott City, Mo., 10 years before moving to Poplar Bluff. He had been a driver, dispatcher, driver manager and shop manager in the trucking industry. He most recently worked at Tanksley in Cape Girardeau and Champion Trucking in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth Baker Jr. of Joliet; two daughters, Carla and Karen Baker of Joliet; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
