PUXICO -- Kennard Dean Jones, 57, of Puxico, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 1994, at his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1937, at Mingo, son of Ira and Verna Neighbors Jones. He and Gracie Dunning were married Feb. 8, 1958, at Bloomfield.

Jones was a timber worker and logger.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Tracy Deaton, Kendra Jones and Misty Jones of Puxico, Paula Shepard of Trinity, Ala., Karen Baker of Dexter; five brothers, Charlie, John and Ernest Jones of Puxico, Arzie Jones of Troy, Dale Jones of Merced, Calif.; four sisters, Mary Tucker of Merced, Beulah Norton of Troy, Lucy Langford and Pat Martin of Puxico, and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Robert Cockrell officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
