Kendra S. Bannister, 26, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 15, 1998, at her home.

She was born July 2, 1971, in Sparta, Ill., daughter of Carl O. and Donna Hampton Bannister.

Bannister was a customer service representative at Spartech Compounding. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sparta.

Survivors include her parents of Sparta; three sisters, Carla Diercks, Tara Byington and Tricia Bannister, all of Sparta; paternal grandmother, Lola Bannister of Sparta; and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Ruth Hampton of Steeleville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather.

Friends may call at McDaniel Funeral Home in Sparta from 6-9 p.m. today, and 7:30-10 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral and burial will be private, with the Rev. Chad Neal officiating.
