Kelly Brian Stroder, son of the late Brian Zettie Stroder and Mary Stella Lubbers Stroder, was born June 14, 1942, in Laflin, Missouri, and passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, in Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 74.

Mr. Stroder was a veteran of the United States Army, a former construction foreman for Ameren Missouri and was a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include two sons, Parrish Todd Stroder and Blake Alan Stroder, both of Dexter; two grandchildren, Joshua Todd Stroder of Cape Girardeau and Blake Ryan Stroder of Poplar Bluff; three nieces and three nephews; and also by his dog, Chance, and horse, Trigger.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Franklin Stroder, Marshall Stroder and Jackie Stroder.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

The funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Brian Stroder, Jerry Caudle and Don Laird officiating.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
