Kelly V. Gohn, 93, of Jackson passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. The youngest of six children, Kelly was born March 6, 1927, in Lutesville, Missouri, to Henry "Pearl" and Lucy Hill Gohn. He and Virginia Lee Lincoln were married June 9, 1954. Kelly V. Gohn, 93, of Jackson passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

The youngest of six children, Kelly was born March 6, 1927, in Lutesville, Missouri, to Henry "Pearl" and Lucy Hill Gohn. He and Virginia Lee Lincoln were married June 9, 1954. Two daughters were born to their union, Nancy and Beverly. They had been married 65 years when Virginia passed away Nov. 23, 2019.

Kelly was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving honorably from May 30, 1945, to Nov. 6, 1946.

Loving survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Darwin) Lape and Beverly (Fred) McWilson of Jackson; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ina Nuckles of Richmond, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and four siblings, Earl, Glen, and Elvis Gohn and Mildred Wyman.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Francis officiating. Interment and military rites will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri.
