Kelly Jean Abbott, 54, of Jackson, beloved daughter, mother and sister, left this world Thursday, April 4, 2019. Kelly was fighting stage 4 cancer. She passed away at Southeast Hospital, with family at her side.

Kelly was born Dec. 13, 1964, in Hollywood, California. She then moved to Missouri, where she attended Cape Girardeau Central High School, graduating in 1982.

She was a secretary for the Cement Masons Local Union No. 908.

She was an avid music fan, quite possibly the biggest Ozzy Osbourne fan there ever was. She enjoyed camping, concerts and also float trips. Kelly made a point to bring light into the life of anyone who crossed her path. She will be so sorely missed.
