Keith Earl Walker, 64, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born May 3, 1957, in Cape Girardeau to David Earl and Ruth Brown Walker. He and Paula Hooten were married June 3, 1978, in East Prairie, Missouri.

Keith was a 1975 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. He was enthused with aviation and in 1980 began his career as a line service technician with Cape Central Airways. He subsequently became a line chief and also earned his private pilot's license. He then worked as a tire and lube technician at Walmart in Cape Girardeau and recently returned to the airport with Cape Aviation.

Keith was a lifetime member of Cape Community Church.

Loving survivors include his wife of 43 years, Paula Walker; his mother, Ruth Walker; sister, Kathy Bartz; niece, Elizabeth (Aaron) Crisler; and nephew, James Christopher Stroud, all of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Scott Walker.

Visitation will be from noon to service time Sunday, Nov. 14, at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eugene Moses officiating. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorial contributions to Cape Community Church, 2222 Bloomfield St., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
