ADVANCE -- Kay Cox, 40, of Atwater, Ill., died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, in Wilsonville, Ill.
She was born Oct. 25, 1957, at Wood River, Ill., daughter of Oran and Eva Peters Wallace. She and Donald Cox were married Feb. 12, 1974, in Plainview, Ill.
Cox was an accountant with H&R Block.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Andy Cox of Atwater; a daughter, Eva Bishop of Dupo, Ill.; a brother, Curtis Wallace of Gipsy; four sisters, Laura Davis of Sturdivant, Juanita Needham of Perryville, Melba Cain of Dupo, Flora Cookemboo of Gipsy; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Berrong General Baptist Church at Gipsy. The Rev. Ray Placher will officiate, with burial in Berrong Cemetery.
