ORAN -- Funeral service for Katie M. Turnage, Oran Route 2, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hooe Baptist Church. The Rev. Mark McDaniel will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
Turnage, 68, died Sunday, May 17, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 10, 1924, in Mayfield, Ky., daughter of Charles and Tommie Willie Ray. She married W. O. Turnage Feb. 24, 1960.
Turnage was a member of Hooe Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jimmy Mills of Memphis, Tenn., Robert Turnage of Concord, Ark.; four daughters, Terri Ressel and Lesa Gruber of Oran, Robin Gruber of Cape Girardeau, Shauna Eftink of Chester, Ill.; two sisters, Pearl Foster of Jackson, Tenn., Francis Taylor of Sikeston, and 15 grandchildren.
