MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Kathryn Marie Mayfield, 71, of Marble Hill entered into rest on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the Woodland Hills Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1946, in Patton, Missouri, daughter of Leo "Muck" Wilson and Mildred I. Douglas Long. She and Floyd Mayfield were united in marriage Feb. 6, 1965.
Kathryn worked for International Hat factory.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Mayfield of Marble Hill; her mother, Mildred Long of Sedgewickville, Missouri; brothers, David (Laura) Long of Friedheim and Bradley (Alice) Long of Fredericktown, Missouri; sisters, Pauline O'Dell of Patton and Wanda Howard and Valerie (Boo) Luttrull of Marble Hill; grandson, Jacob (Amy) Elfrink of Kelso, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Elfrink; father; brothers, Donald Leo, Kenneth, Steven and Rodger Long, and sister, P. Dian Long.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will follow in the Pulliam Cemetery near Patton.
