CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Miss Kathrine Hodges of Charleston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. George Hill will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Miss Hodges, 63 years old, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Watervalley, Ky., daughter of James and Linnie Johnson Hodges. She was a member of Dorena Baptist Church.
Survivors include six brothers, James Hodges of Doniphan, William Nelson of Dyersburg, Tenn., James, Johnny and Calvin Hodges of East Prairie, Vernon Hodges of Houston, Tex.; six sisters, Billie McClendon of Charleston, Betty Jeffords of Salem, Ill., Ruby Francis of Bowling Green, Ky., Ruth Simpson of Liberty, S.C., Ocie Bradley of Steele, and Linda Hodges of East Prairie.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
