WILSON CITY -- Katherine Douglas, 95, of Wilson City died Monday, Jan. 1, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born July 29, 1900, in Ripley, Tenn., to Alex and Alice Adams Donlow. She had been a resident of Missouri for 60 years.
Survivors include two sons, Wardell Greer of Cairo, Ill., and William Thomas Greer of Wyatt; a daughter, Helen Douglas of Wilson City; a stepson, Fred Douglas of Chicago Heights, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Odessa Scott of Park Forrest, Ill., Delores Douglas of Chicago Heights and Dorothy Mae Douglas of Charleston; 28 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Douglas was a member of the Faith Temple Church of God In Christ and served on the Mother Board.
Friends may call at the L. R. Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at Trinity Church of Deliverance in Charleston at 1 p.m. Saturday, with Elder Lemmie D. Pulliam officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
