Karen L. Webster, 49, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 26, 1957, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of Albert and Doris Ramage Sullenger. She and Jeffery G. Webster were married Oct. 15, 1978, in New Madrid, Mo.
Karen was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Baptist Church in Jackson. She loved working with and being around children, and had worked several years at Just Kids Day Care Center in Jackson.
Loving survivors include her husband Jeff of 27 years; two sons and a daughter-in-law, George H. "Trace" Webster III and Katherine of Cape Girardeau, J. Logan Webster of the home; her father of Marston, Mo.; a brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Karen Sullenger of New Madrid; and a sister and brother-in-law, Dana and Joe Scott of Campbell, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
According to her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. There will be a celebration of Karen's life from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Stable, 131 W. Main in Jackson.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Crossroads Fellowship Project "New Horizons" or to Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
