Karen Sue Biggerstaff, 56, of Jackson died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 31, 1954, in DuQuoin, Ill., to Homer and Francis Cook Holt. She and Charles Biggerstaff Jr. were married in 1973 in Benton, Ill.
Biggerstaff attended the Salvation Army Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Woodall of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Thomas Holt of Dexter, Mo., Timothy Biggerstaff of Jackson, Clarence Biggerstaff of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Roger Holt of DuQuoin, Homer Holt of Decatur, Ill., Brent Holt of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Brenda Sample and Geneva Masters of Jackson; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dan Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
