Karen Kay Baugher, 69, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday. July 29, 2021, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Sept. 6, 1951 to William Paul and Clara May Bosse Kirtley of Cape Girardeau.

Karen was a seamstress at Tri-Con for many years and later graduated from Metro Business College as a medical assistant.

She had been battling multiple sclerosis for many years.

She is survived by a son, Derek Baugher of Cape Girardeau; granddaughter, Katie Baugher of Cape Girardeau; sister, Paula (John) Dunehew of Stone Mountain, Georgia; and brothers, Mike Kirtley of St. Louis and Brad (Jan) Kirtley of Adams, Tennessee.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baugher, and daughter, Kara Baugher.

Services will be private.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
